The Eastern Metropolitan Regional Council is a Perth based Regional Local Government providing services in waste management, regional development and environmental management and sustainability
- Base rate of $37.11/hr, plus up to 16% superannuation, plus 17.5% annual leave loading, plus weekend penalty rates
- Mundaring, Coppin Road location
- Minimum of 30hrs per week, over time available
- 4 days per week, Mon, Tues, Sat and Sun, weekend penalty rates apply (some flexibility on days of work is possible, however we are ideally seeking a candidate able to work most if not all weekends - weekend penalty rates apply for hours worked on the weekend)
- Ongoing contract with immediate start
- Work 30hrs per week and receive a full-time salary with the weekend penalties!

An opportunity exists for an environmentally minded candidate to join our Operations Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a small team and operating the Beverage Container Refund Point at our Mundaring Transfer Station as part of the State Government’s Container Deposit Scheme (CDS).
Essential to your success in this role will be your desire to facilitate positive environmental outcomes, customer centric approach and attention to detail. You will be able to effectively communicate with the general public, be able to identify different container material types, have basic IT skills and ideally experience operating a forklift (we will provide training if you don't already hold this).
