Steelweld Fabrication is private WA owned and operated Structural Steel company based in Wangara WA established in 2015. Steelweld manufacture`s a wide range of products ranging from shade posts to large Structural packages.
Qualifications & experience
- Minimum 5 years Trade qualification (Boilermaker/Welder) essential
- Experience managing a team of 5-15 employee`s
- Experience in training of apprentices
- Competent in all forms of welding
- Experience in fabrication & Demonstrated understanding of structural steel drawings
- The ability to communicate and give guidance to other trades persons
- Forklift Ticket
- Valid C Class drivers license
- OH&S knowledge
- Computer literate
Tasks & responsibilities
- Day to day running of workshop
- Fabrication & Welding
- Build job packs/Job allocation
- Proof reading drawings
- Toolbox talks and Job pre start meetings
- Checking of Fabrication & Weld preps / sign off of items
