The Project & RosterLocated in the Goldfields region this large open cut mine offers a great opportunity to train up and further your skills in the mining industry. With a large experienced team the site offers;-
- Excellent training and development, including OEM training
- Roster - 2 wees on 1 week off (days/ nights then 7 days off)
- DIDO to site each day and get paid for travel time
- Enjoy the comfort of being able to stay in your own bed each night
The DutiesTake the next step in your career and enjoy leading a small team whilst still being heavily tool based.
- Lead a team of 3 fitters planning jobs and reporting into the supervisor on site
- Enjoy spending 70% of your time based on the tools completing maintenance and breakdowns on machinery
- Working in a well-connected and experienced crew
- Machinery - CAT trucks, loaders, dozers, graders. CAT, Liebherr, Hitachi and Komatsu excavators
Your valueComing from 5+ years of experience working within mining on heavy vehicles, civil plant or mining equipment will put you in a great position to start on this site. You will also have the following;-
- Trade qualifications in a mechanical competence
- Knowledgeable on hydraulic systems and low voltage electrical
- An excellent attitude towards work and safety values
- A team player and able to work autonomously
- Previous experience leading a team (desirable but not essential)
