The Mitchell Services maintenance team is seeking a suitably qualified Leading Hand - Fitter for an immediate start in our Dysart workshop (Central Queensland)
To be considered, you will be:
A trade qualified diesel fitter with Drill Rig experience – exploration fleet experience essential
Hold a HR licence (required)
Heavy vehicle/plant experience is highly desirable
Able to demonstrate safety awareness and the promotion of safe work practices within a team
You must have the right to work in Australia
The Leading Hand Fitter is responsible for:
Lead and prioritise the daily maintenance, repair and compliance activities at the workshop and yard.
Supervise the workshop team including contractors and sub-contractors.
Conduct maintenance, repair, and compliance tasks
Provide technical and physical support to sites/projects in terms of assets, maintenance & compliance matters
Continuous improvement of the asset and maintenance functions
This position is two weeks on two weeks off FIFO of DIDO family friendly roster.
