SalaryWe are looking for a skilled and qualified Leading Hands and Carpenter to join our team. The perfect candidate for this role will have:
- Minimum 5 years’ work history as a qualified carpenter
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong leadership experience
- Time management and organisational skills
- Exceptional problem-solving skills
- Proven capability to be adaptable and responsive.
- Results driven and client focused mindset.
- Pride and passion for exceptional carpentry and attention to detail.
Some duties include:
- Working closely with a small team of 3-4
- Assisting with all elements of construction including reading and interpreting plans
- Liaising directly with sub-trades and suppliers
- Following timeframes and work schedules
- Safe working knowledge of required tools, machinery, and equipment
- Knowledge of and compliance with the BCA
- Adhering to onsite OHS and administration procedures.
Requirements:
- Certificate III in Carpentry & Joinery
- White Card
- Own tools and equipment
- Driver’s license and own vehicle
