Role Title: Leading Hand

The purpose of the role of Leading Hand in the Logistics department is to assist Team Leaders with the day to day operations of the Logistics teams while supporting the optimisation of associated policies, procedures and guidelines to drive efficient and high-quality outcomes for the organisation and our customers.
This role is for multi-skilled persons who can be directed to work in the team with the greatest need that day.
Staff may be required to drive a commercial fleet vehicle to a satellite storage facility or client premises to carry out other Logistics related duties.
Key accountabilities:
- Prepare requested items for return to clients in accordance with service standards.
- Comply with all policies, procedures, and guidelines to provide efficient logistics support for storage and movement of records internally and offsite at client's premises.
- Respond to enquiries from external and internal clients in accordance with service standards.
- Ensure all enquiries, tasks and issues are accurately captured and authorised policies and procedures are followed to appropriate levels of service.
- Provide administrative services and respond to enquiries and complete a range of processing activities with accuracy and efficiency.
- Handle day to day operational requirements effectively balancing the need for speed and efficiency with the requirement for complete accuracy to deliver output in accordance with service standards.
- Allocate work to staff and monitor throughput and quality to ensure that all targets are being met and all projects are progressing satisfactorily.

- Be reliable, punctual and team spirited
- Current NSW (C) class or equivalent Australian drivers licence.
- Current NSW (MR) class Australian drivers license - not essential
- Current HRW National License (LO and/or LF) - not essential
- Physically capable to repeatedly lift items up to 16kgs
- RF Scanner experience desirable
- Warehouse experience is valued
