The Opportunity:
The Leading hand is responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of the Field Service department to ensure it operates safely and profitably by coordinating all activities of staff and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all elements of the department as directed to achieve growth and profitability in accordance with the Branch requirements.
- Provide a High level of customer satisfaction by delivering upon the Customer Support Charter Standards
- Develop, Lead and Mentor staff who are assigned to the service department to achieve a high level of moral and engagement.
- Liaise with other departments and suppliers to provide a high level of customer service and support in line with the Customer Support Charter
- Ensure all staff and contractors conform to the Komatsu Health and Safety Policies and that continuous improvement measures are implemented.
Roster: Monday to Friday
Role Located: Gunnedah

What we are looking for:
- Possess leadership skills.
- Ability to direct staff and ensure objectives are met.
- Qualified Plant Mechanic.
- Ability to provide a high level of customer service in line with our Customer Support Charter
- Demonstrated commitment to safety.
- Good computer skills
- C classification driver’s licence.
- Ability to work unsupervised.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good understanding of computer systems and Microsoft Office
Qualifications:
- Cert 3 Heavy vehicle
- Desirable Supervisor certificate S1, S2,S3
- Previous Product knowledge
