The duties and responsibility of the position the Employee is required to perform include, but is not limited to:
POSITION DESCRIPTION
- Adhere to all company policy & procedures as well as site specific policy and WHS procedures, reporting any noncompliance and OHS issues to management immediately.
- Perform a variety of tasks at all kinds of construction sites as directed by the Site Manager
- Assisting with co-ordination, management and scheduling of particular activities to ensure that equipment and resources are efficiently utilised to meet production outcomes
- Efficiently Manage the site labour team and complete required tasks
- Manage resources efficiently, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
- Monitoring compliance with construction documentation
- Loading & unloading of building and construction materials, tools & equipment and transporting them around building sites
- Provide works reports and ITP’s of works completed
- Operate a variety of hand and power tools as well as machinery as directed.
- Assist other skilled trades in performing tasks as required.
- Ensure OH&S and Environmental standards are met and maintained on site
- Ensure that daily pre-start meetings are held in every instance
- Site inductions, site diaries, daily pre-starts, permits, toolbox talks, timesheets etc. to be completed and submitted where required and as directed by the Site Manager
Experience required
- Minimum 2-5 years industry experience
Qualifications required
- Working towards Trade Qualification or Building & Construction competencies preferred but not essential.
- EWP, Telehandler operator Tickets preferred but not essential.
