Position Overview
- Leading-Hand Field Service position.
- Working on a range of Earthmoving Equipment and heavy vehicles.
- Servicing, maintenance, repairs, fault diagnosis.
- Swapping out parts and components.
- Field Servicing of equipment.
- Working with diesel engines, hydraulic components and systems, electrical systems, undercarriage.
- Providing leadership for a few other field service technicians.
Candidate Requirements
- Cert III Plant Mechanic, Diesel Mechanic/Fitter or similar. Cert III Light Vehicle Ok in some special cases.
- Sound knowledge and experience working on mobile plant or similar diesel-powered equipment.
- An honest worker with good work ethic.
- Someone who enjoys being a part of an effective & positive Team.
- Mechanically minded, a passion for machinery with interest in learning new equipment, systems and technical skills.
- Drivers license, HR highly regarded.
- Some experience in a workshop leadership position.
