The Role
The successful person will become a member of our hardworking and committed team who are responsible for operating in the Utilities department with a variety of fixed-plant circuits, which will include a selection of the following technologies:
- Sulphuric acid & Process gas production
- Power supply (gas & steam turbines) and Package Boiler operations
- Water treatment production consisting of Potable and Demineralised water
- Instrument and plant air supply to the processing plant
- Production of Hydrogen Sulphide for the precipitation of Nickle in the Refinery department
This role would suit a motivated, focused and professional person, looking for a long-term career within a technically challenging and rewarding work environment.
You will also have:
- A current and valid HR Drivers Licence (Advantageous)
- LF Licence & Front-End Loader Experience (Advantageous)
- Previous experience operating any of the above mentioned processes
- Sound knowledge of mechanical and chemical processes and chemical reagent hazards
- Demonstrated familiarity with individual and team based risk assessment tools and HSE procedures;
- Experience with systems and procedures used within a similar process industry
- Familiar working with permit to work procedures.
- HRWL in Turbine Operations as well as Advanced Boiler operations will be desirable
