About the Opportunity
We currently have a vacancy for fulltime Workshop Leading Hand within our Fit Out team located at the Hazelmere office. The successful candidate will be an individual with a high-quality approach.
What you’ll do
Oversee all aspects of heavy vehicle fit-out projects from receipt of vehicle to the workshop to completion.
Coordinate with Operations Supervisor, Purchasing Team and Operational Administration to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
Lead and motivate on-site teams to uphold our high standards of quality and safety.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues that may arise.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.
What you will bring
- Australian Recognised Trade Certificate
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to be versatile and assist other trades as required.
- Have a positive work ethic. Proactive and positive approach to tasks
- Excellent teamwork skills, ability to think outside the box.
- Desire to grow and develop within a rapidly growing company.
- Proven experience in Mechanical Fitting supervision.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage teams.
- In-depth knowledge of work flow systems in a workshop, production flow methods, materials, and safety procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
