Form of workThe available position is located in Capalaba QLD and is Monday - Friday (minimum 38 hours per week).
To be suitable for this role you should have (but not limited to):
- Experience in steel production processes and quality control of the Steel Reinforcing Industry
- High Risk Work License- Forklift
- Overhead Crane experience
- Car Drivers Licence
- Experience co-coordinating training of staff
- Experience operating production machinery
- Ability to organise, plan, and prioritise work to achieve and meet deadlines.
- High level of numeracy, literacy, and IT skills
- Reliable, responsible, and dependable
- Proactive, forward thinking who can multitask to achieve the best possible outcome while maintaining the highest possible standards of safety, quality & housekeeping
- First Aid qualification (preferred)
- Machinery operating skills- steel processing equipment (preferred)
- Previous steel industry experience (preferred)
This a permanent position with a starting hourly rate of $36.22 per hour.
You must be able to pass a Pre Employment Medical & a Drug and Alcohol Screen.
