Our client is seeking an experienced Leading Hand/Site Supervisor to familiarise with all aspects of the client's, Principles, Management Systems and Procedures and to utilise and implement this on the assigned project or task. Professionally engage with project staff, clients and other stakeholders on all aspects of a project from award of contract through to design, construction and commissioning, while maintaining high company safety standards and ensuring a consistent level of quality control.

Position:Leading Hand / Site Supervisor
Location: RAAF Darwin
Employment Type: Contract for 4 months with Tracks and with the opportunity for permanency directly to the client afterwards
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Rate: $70 per hour with Tracks and potentially $140K-170K per annum once absorbed by the client
Work hours: Monday to Friday 6:30am to 5:00pm. No Saturday work planned. Occasionally a half day
Requirements:
- Must be Australian citizen
- Job is based at RAAF Darwin
- Full-time hours (40 - 50 hour week)
- Contract with TRACKS for 4 months with the opportunity for a permanent contract with the client and a salary range of between 140 - 170k per annum after this.
- Minimum 2-5 years of civil experience as a Leading Hand or supervisor
- Experience with remediation or contamination preferred including PFAS (preferred)
- Experience working with federally accredited and ISO-accredited safety and quality systems.
- Some experience working on Defence bases and Defence projects.
- C Class drivers licence but HR licence or higher preferred
- DCAP or ability to obtain one
- Excavator and Loader ticket
- Basic understanding of outlook, excel and word

- To ensure that customer service, both internal and external, is of the highest standard at all times.
- Present as a spokesperson and advocate of client in all dealings with both internal and external parties.
- Manage all subcontractors on the site, ensuring proper execution of their work within Management Plans and HSEQ requirements.
- Manage Supervisors, Leading Hands and Labourers.
- Recording of all hours, measurements, etc. for works undertaken by personnel, plant and subcontractors, and completion of Site Forms.
- Assisting the Project Manager and Project Engineers to ensure all HSEQ requirements are met on projects.
- Maintain company tools and plant to ensure longevity. Regularly check and inspect tools and machinery in accordance with manufacturer’s guidelines.
- Ensure all workers on site are fully inducted and have appropriate certificates/licences for tasks to be undertaken.
- Understand project scope via project contract and complete all works associated.
