- Seeking a permanent full time Leading Hand Waste Operations
- Salary $78,511 per annum plus superannuation

About the Position
The successful candidate in this position will be responsible for providing daily leadership to a team of Waste Operators to enable the delivery of quality services to the community, and operating a range of plant and equipment for domestic, recycling, bulk, parks and verge, illegal dumping waste collection and disposal.
The position will be required to work most public holidays and some weekends.
About you
As a collaborative member of the Waste Services team, the successful appointee must be adaptable and experienced in a supervisory position within the waste environment. You will also thrive working in a very busy and change driven organisation, whilst meeting the following requirements:
Essential:
- Proven experience in a leadership position within a waste environment
- Experience in operation / maintenance of mechanical plant, and HR vehicles, supported by appropriate licences
- Proven communication and customer service skills
- Experience in the efficient utilisation of information systems and technology
- Capable of physical activity
Desirable:
- Skid steer operation certification
- Forklift operator certification
