Permanent- Full time 38 hours
Salary: Band 4 - $67,100 - $72,071 + 11 % superannuation
Role includes an RDO
We are looking for a Leading Hand Worksand Services to carry out allocated tasks safely and to specified standards in order to meet agreed productivity and service as determined by the Manager City Works and Amenity. To supervise day to day operations of the Works & Services department to ensure all service programs are carried out in a safe and effective manner.
What you’ll be working on:
Provide input and assistance to the Coordinator City Amenity in developing and implementing new works and Services programs and undertake monitoring to ensure program requirements are being achieved.
Supervise day to day operations of the Work and Services department to ensure all service programs are carried out in a safe and effective manner and undertake regular worksite audits to ensure work is being completed safely and to agreed standards.
Undertake regular site audits of areas allocated and used by the Works and Services section.
What you need to succeed:
Victorian Drivers Licence with medium rigid truck endorsement
Experience in operating a wide range of mechanical plant and equipment.
Experience in staff management
