The Role

Reporting to the Site Supervisor, the Leading Hand/Carpenter will primarily be responsible for;

• Provide leadership and supervision to onsite sub-contractors and trades

• Perform 1st and 2nd fix carpentry as required

• Commitment to ensuring a safe working environment

Skills and Experience

• Qualified Carpenter

• Minimum 3-years' experience as a residential/commercial Carpenter or Leading Hand

• Ability to interpret building plans, engineering documentation, surveys, civil plans, timber framing layouts, specifications, and other technical documentation understanding of BCA/NCC standards and requirements.

• Excellent communication skills

• High attention to detail and quality workmanship

• Ability to work independently and within a team environment

• Construction Induction White Card

• Driver’s license essential.
