About the Role

The purpose of a Learning and Development Manager is to design, implement, and manage Learning and Development initiatives at Parkerville. Their role is focused on ensuring training compliance and enhancing the knowledge, skills, and capabilities of employees, students, and volunteers to support individual and organisational growth.

This will be offered on a full-time basis, at our Midland location.

As a Learning and Development Manager, your duties and responsibilities will be:

• Conducting assessments and needs analysis to identify the Learning and Development needs of employees and the organisation.

• In consultation with service line leaders, design and develop programs, training materials, and resources that align with organisational goals and address identified needs.

• Coordinating and managing the implementation of Learning and Development programs.

• Conducting training sessions or facilitating workshops to deliver learning content and facilitate knowledge transfer.

• Managing the records to track employee training progress, record completion, and generate reports.

In order to be successful for this role, the applicant will have:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or Cert IV in Training and Assessment or willingness to obtain this certification.

• Evidenced skills in the input and management of data and other administrative functions to support the delivery of training and other organisational development supports (ie staff meetings, leadership meetings)

• Demonstrated proficiency in the design and Development of high-quality curriculum and learning materials (PowerPoints, handouts, and other training materials)

• Experience with learning systems and Development of new programs

• Demonstrated expertise in event and project management skills evidenced by the delivery of training programs and/or deliver on internal staff events.
