By leading Learning and organisational development initiatives, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting our business through growth and performance across Culture, Capability, Leadership, Employee Experience, and Internal Communications. Your broad range of responsibilities will span the design and delivery of learning solutions, capability frameworks, talent planning, employee value proposition initiatives and many other initiatives to support Nextt and its approximately 1300 people grow and develop. Reporting into the GM of P&C, you’ll be empowered to lead and own the end-to-end Learning and organisational development strategy, through consulting and creating Learning and organisational initiatives, alongside senior business leaders.

Your Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a small team of OD & Learning professionals.
- Design and deliver Learning programs using a range of methods, including face-to-face, digital, and blended learning, ensuring the content is accessible, relevant, and engaging.
- Ensure appropriate mandatory training courses are in place, including e-learning modules via our system Iinduct and track compliance.
- Design and deliver leadership programs aligned to Nextt’s three business pillars of Client Experience, Employee Experience and Sustainability and Growth.
- Lead talent and succession planning: design and embed the capability framework, including integrated tools for assessment and building career pathways to support the sustainability and growth of Nextt.
- Design and deliver organisational culture and employee experience projects.
- Support the development of early careers through graduate and traineeship programs.
- Design and deliver orgainsational culture and engagement survey projects, including internal communications, planning, debriefing and action plans.
- Lead internal communications and digital communications related to employee experience.
- Use data to identify and advise on trends, patterns, challenges, and opportunities that impact capability, performance, and culture to inform future activities.
- Maintain accurate records of development spend and committed spend to support P&C in maintaining the Learning & OD budget and provide accurate forecasts.
- 5 years+ working as an Learning & OD Professional.
- Degree in Human Resources, Organisational Development or Organisational Psychology + Cert IV Training and Assessment.
- Experience designing, implementing, and facilitating effective learning & development solutions using modern adult learning practice and methods.
- Demonstrated depth of experience developing and delivering People and Culture / OD frameworks, strategies, policies, plans and projects that align people and organisational goals and improve culture, engagement, and performance.
- Proficient in MS 365 and Learning Management Systems
- Experience in leading a team and ability to champion and lead change.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to build data sets and reports to support data-driven decisions.
