Learning and Development Partner

We are excited to engage an experienced Learning and Development Partner for a parental leave contract, commencing in February 2024 until March 2025. The position is based in Artarmon under a hybrid working arrangement, with the successful person leading our Learning and Development team in designing, developing and delivering learning content.
The priority for this role is to facilitate learning through acquiring knowledge, skills and competencies in an effective and appealing manner. This person will have two direct reports within the Weir Minerals Learning and Development team.

Key Responsibilities:
Promote collaboration, partnership and relationships with business key stakeholders on all areas of Learning and Development, identifying target audience’s training needs.
Lead the L&D team, monitor team performance and oversee the day-to-day operations and larger projects.
Interpret technical content to develop programs that support knowledge transfer via curriculum design, program creation and knowledge validation.
Set and implement the L&D strategy to align with business requirements and update the National Training Competency Matrix yearly ensuring all compliance training requirements are met.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
Any equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered for candidates that have the ability to perform the objectives above.
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) and/or Diploma of Training Design and Development (TAE50216)
Experience in effectively managing and leading a team.
Proficiency with Learning Management Systems, desirably Workday Learning.
Background in HR is desirable, but not essential.
