Your Opportunity
Reporting to the Manager Learning & Development you will be responsible to drive our employee engagement, talent management and Development programs aligned to the Learning and Development Strategy. This is a newly created role to support our organisational growth, empower leaders, shape the development of our people and inspire a culture of excellence.
This role isn’t just an ordinary Learning and Development role, it’s full of variety and provides an opportunity to make a tangible difference, maximise employee engagement, work with leaders to create leadership capacity by building leadership capability, assisting with talent management cycles, building learning pathways for employees, and identifying and creating solutions for our key programs of work, including the Primero safe, respectful and inclusive workforce program.
This role is a permanent full time with workplace flexibility. Based in Osborne Park, there will be some requirement to travel between our locations of Osborne Park, Perth City and Bunbury, a valid driver’s licence is required.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Implementing Leadership Development programs
* Talent and Succession planning
* Creating workplace solutions for diversity and inclusion initiatives with a focus on creating a safe and respectful workplace
* Implementing Employee Engagement and Employee Development initiatives
* Support eLearning initiatives aligned to Learning and Development strategy
What you ‘Can do’
This role would suit a professional with a passion for leadership development and culture transformation, with a background as a HR Business Partner or Organisational Development Advisor and is looking for an opportunity to influence, design, and shape a thriving workplace. You would have a proven track record guiding and influencing programs in the workplace that develop leadership capabilities, practical experience in building cultural transformation activities, facilitating talent management activities and a desire to maximise employee engagement through continuous learning.
* Proven ability in implementing and evaluating innovative OD and learning strategies, policies, and practices to achieve organisational goals. Development of OD and learning programs would be advantageous.
* Experience in developing and coordinating employee engagement programs.
* Working knowledge of diversity and inclusion programs and strategies is desirable but not essential.
* Experience with workplace change initiatives and demonstrate change management
* Experience in eLearning is desirable
* Degree qualified in a relevant field such as Organisational Development, Business Psychology, Human Resources, or a business-related discipline
* Proficient user in MS Office; PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook and Microsoft365 applications
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Demonstrated experience collaborating with business leaders
* Experience in Mining and Construction preferred
