The Role

As part of our commitment to staying at the forefront of the hospitality and holiday park industry, we are seeking a Learning & Development Specialist who is passionate about harnessing these innovations.

We recognize that the future of work is being reshaped by rapid advancements in artificial intelligence (AI) and emerging technologies, this role will analyse the learning needs and develop instruction with initial support and guidance from Organisational Development & Diversity Manager. Delivery methods include virtual and in-person facilitation, eLearning, webinars, resource toolkits and workshops.

Responsibilities Include:

Design Fluency

  • Maintain basic to intermediate fluency in key learning systems, diagnostic and design tools (e.g. Articulate/Rise, Camtasia, SnagIt, Walk Me, Canva)
  • Delivering End to End L&D Services
  • Planning, designing, delivering and evaluating programs, courses, content, materials and resources to develop capability
  • Facilitate a variety of subject matter areas including Operational Process, Systems, Leadership Development & other People & Culture or Business roll out / releases

Innovative & Customer Centric Mindset

  • Work with stakeholders to deliver work in the timeframes directed
  • Maintain Learning and Development industry knowledge to support and drive value for internal stakeholders and customers

AI & Future Tech

  • Lead System Savvy approaches integrating AI-based learning solutions and other future technologies to create immersive and impactful learning experiences
  • Focus on developing competencies that prepare our workforce for the evolving demands of the future of work
  • Leverage big data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities in L&D, ensuring our programs are aligned with industry innovations and workforce expectations

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to forecast future skill requirements and develop strategic learning paths that equip our employees with the skills needed for tomorrow's challenges, focusing on digital literacy, adaptability, and innovation
  • Embrace a culture of experimentation and innovation in L&D practices to foster a forward-thinking environment

About You

As our Learning & Development Specialist you will curate and design content and facilitate virtual and in-person learning programs. This role is equally focused on the design, development, and delivery of learning material to increase skills and capability.

  • Tertiary or Diploma in HR/Hospitality/Design / Business or other relevant area
  • Cert IV in Workplace Training & Assessment
  • Experience designing, delivering, and evaluating L&D Content / eLearning Modules/Programs
  • Strong coaching/mentoring and facilitation skills
  • Experience in learning management system administration (Docebo desirable)
  • Proven track record using Articulate360 from Design, Author Content and delivery of Micro Learning and Lessons
  • Experience in delivering/facilitating virtual and online learning, blended learning, and creating supporting toolkits
  • Strong background in hospitality, hotels/resorts, or the holiday park/caravan industry
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), instructional design platforms, and tools
