Learning & Development Trainer
The National Association of Testing Authorities, Australia (NATA) is Australia’s national accreditation body which provides independent assurance of the technical competence and integrity of organisations for clients who require confidence in the delivery of their products and services.
We are seeking to appoint one full-time and two contract Learning and Development Trainers in our Sydney or Melbourne office.
About the role
The Learning and Development Trainer is responsible for developing and delivering high-quality training programs to create meaningful, relevant, and high-impact learning experiences.
Key areas of responsibility include:
- Provide high-quality, positive and impactful face-to-face and virtual training for internal and external courses.
- Encourage repeat business through effective working relationships and understanding client and member needs.
- Work closely with the Head of Education and Accreditation Training Manager to ensure internal training requirements are successfully met.
- Collaborate with and the NATA Education team to generate new program ideas, maintain a contemporary approach to training and stay up to date with technical requirements.
Intrastate and interstate travel will be necessary.
Skills and experience
- Tertiary qualification in Training and Education and/or at least 2 years of relevant training experience
- Knowledge and ability to apply Adult Learning principles
- A competent facilitator with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability, and flexibility to work in a dynamic team environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel with ability to use an LMS
- Relevant technical experience in quality auditing requirements and implementing management systems is highly desirable
