About the Role
This fixed term role will be responsible for the design and development of high-quality, contemporary and engaging Interactive learning courses, informed by design documents, storyboards, scripts, graphic and multimedia assets, narration, and style guides.
In the role you will
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify learning needs and objectives for various roles within the organisation.
- Design and develop engaging and effective learning programs, courses, and materials using a variety of instructional methods and technologies.
- Conduct thorough needs assessments to determine the most appropriate learning solutions.
- Implement learning programs and initiatives, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs through assessments, surveys, and feedback to continuously improve the learning experience.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in learning and development to ensure our programs are innovative and impactful.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather content and ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and consultants, as needed.
To be successful in this role
Preferred candidates will be able to demonstrate results and impact through:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources, or a related field
- Proven experience within corporate training and instructional design
- Demonstrated experience in developing captivating and inventive learning materials through various styles and delivery channels
- Expertise in adult learning principles, instructional design theory, diverse instructional methods, delivery options, and evaluation methods
- Possess advanced written communication abilities with impeccable grammar and spelling, alongside exceptional graphic design, and layout skills, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail
- Well-developed analytical skills, and the capacity to exercise sound judgement, particularly demonstrated in the ability to assess organisation-wide staff development needs, conduct training needs analysis and translate these to targeted programs.
