Learning Designer

The team at Educonomy/Audit Express are digital learning experts. We specialise in the digitisation of education systems and learning content. We work with our clients collaboratively to identify opportunities for the digitisation and automation of existing education systems, curriculum and learning content, before researching and sourcing EdTech solutions, platforms and digital technology to improve and enhance the overall student experience and outcomes. We support our clients to transfer existing classroom and paper-based learning content into engaging digital learning content and learning experiences.

We are looking for a Learning Designer to join our team!

Responsibilities

• Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhances knowledge transfer and retention
• Work with subject matter experts and identify target audience’s training needs
• State instructional end goals and create content that matches them
• Visualise instructional graphics, the user interface and the finished product
• Conduct instructional research and analysis on learners and contexts
• Apply tested instructional design theories, practices and methods
• Provide exercises and activities that enhance the learning process
• Create supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games etc)
• Decide on the criteria used to judge learner’s performance and develop assessment instruments
• Maintain project documentation and course folders

Essential Knowledge, Skills and Attributes

• 3 years + experience in learning design, development and/or delivery
• Ability to work collaboratively with trainers, instructional designers and other industry experts
• Ability to create engaging, effective and interactive learning solutions with a focus on digital learning
• Demonstrated experience developing SCORM-compliant courses using Articulate Storyline 360, Articulate Rise and Learning Management Systems
• Experience in photography/videography editing
• Excellent knowledge on learning theories and instructional design models
• Basic HTML skills
• Visual design skills
• Ability to work methodically, accurately and neatly
• A positive and friendly demeanour
• High attention to detail and professionalism
