About the team

The Wealth Learning Team is a specialised Learning & Development (L&D) function within Margin Lending and Wealth Management. The team is responsible for increasing the capacity of employees who provide relevant wealth products and solutions to meet the holistic needs of our customers and support the Bank’s vision.

About the role

As a Learning & Development Consultant(known internally as Wealth Learning Consultant) and reporting to the Senior Manager Wealth Learning, your main responsibility will be instructional design: writing and producing training material for other facilitators and subject matter experts to use when delivering training programs.

As part of a small and passionate team you will be involved in the full end-to-end process of creating and implementing training programs including consulting with stakeholders to analyse training needs, producing training material, supporting facilitators to roll out training programs, collecting feedback and measuring outcomes.

This is a 9-month fixed term opportunity. Ideally located at one of our corporate offices in Melbourne, Adelaide, Sydney or Bendigo we offer a flexible hybrid work arrangement with the expectation you are in the office 2 days per week. 

About you

To be successful you will bring:

  • Demonstratable experience in the development and delivery of training programs
  • Working knowledge of best practice Instructional Design and Adult Learning principles
  • Exceptional written & verbal communication skills
  • Highly developed writing and presentation skills via Microsoft PowerPoint and Word
  • Strong time management skills, including being organised, able to prioritise work and meet deadlines
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly
  • Ability to work autonomously and work with a geographically separated team and stakeholders
  • Working knowledge of wealth products (super, insurance, managed funds, margin lending) desirable but not mandatory
  • Certificate IV Training & Assessment qualification desirable
