What you'll be doing
The Administration Officer, Learning Management Systems provides high-level helpdesk support and guidance to all users of the Learning Management System platforms (state-wide and local) to promote understanding and utilisation across SWSLHD staff, including managing the state-wide service desk tickets within agreed timeframes. The role provides training and guidance on the use of the Learning Management Systems (LMS) and is also responsible for extracting data and prepare basic to complex training reports, including Mandatory training data for analysis and interpretation to present information in a meaningful way.

Education and Organisational Development Services (EODS) supports the achievement of the LHDs strategic goals, with a focus on supporting our staff to positively transform how our patients, consumers, staff and communities experience our organisation and services.
The department consists of staff with expertise in clinical and non-clinical education and organisational development focussed on the delivery of the EOD Operational Plan. The departments programs and services focus on enabling a positive workplace culture, developing high performing teams and ensuring our work environment attracts and retains talent. The key portfolios within the department include Multidisciplinary Clinical Education and Development Unit, Corporate Support Services Education and Development Unit, Learning Hub, Organisational Development Unit and Future Workforce Support Unit.

How to Apply
To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria as thoroughly as possible. * Relevant qualifications and / or experience in similar role or in areas such as systems administrator role.
  • Ability to produce statistical data including the interpretation and evaluation analysis.
  • Demonstrated advanced system administration experience and computer literacy in working with a range of databases/software packages including Learning Management Systems, MS Office programs, and health specific web based systems.
  • Demonstrated high level interpersonal communication skills with proven ability to build effective working relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce complex documentation or reports as well as an advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage numerous tasks concurrently, use initiatives, establish priorities and work to tight and competing deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems, make decisions and work independently under limited direction, within the identified scope of the role
  • Demonstrated experience in appropriate and effective role modelling; and ability to promote and support a culture that reflects the organisational values through demonstrated behaviours and interactions with managers and employees.
  • Current unrestricted Australian drivers licence (P2 Licence Acceptable) subject to obtaining NSW drivers licence within 3 months of appointment.
