The role:
A terrific opportunity within our Group Finance team! Up on offer is a Permanent full-time role as a Billing System Administrator.
The Finance team is responsible for the accurate and timely reporting of both statutory and management information and are the custodians of the company’s assets. The Finance Systems team sits within IDP corporate and liaises with stakeholders and external support providers to ensure that critical IDP systems are maintained and governed across our global network.

Responsibilities include:
Technical & Professional
- Be the point of contact for Billing Platform queries and provide first level admin support.
- Understand the end-to-end processes that impact operation and finance and work with the team to achieve best practice business processes.
- Maintain, control, and support the Billing system through access control, data management, adherences to legislative compliance and effective system interfaces to produce accurate and up to date documentation.
- Monitor and implement systems to ensure billing master data is accurate and up to date (ability to understand contracts and pricing data to translate to a Billing system).
- Help manage the development of minor system enhancements and manage deployments through a systems development lifecycle.
- Assist with the creation and maintenance of a product roadmap of prioritised features and enhancements.
- Be our technical expert for the Billing Platform.
- Monitor product deliverables to keep in line with business goals.
- Billing Platform Support for user base across the globe.
- Liaise with customers and lead billing operations teams.
- Work with functional users to put together test scripts for execution after changes have been made to systems.
- Conduct Integration testing in Billing Platform as well as assist with testing when required.
- Documentation, Training and Data Analysis.
- Assisting with documenting the functional requirements for minor changes required for improved system or process performance.
- Act as liaison between various stakeholders such as CRT, Finance, Digital Product owners and offshore based development teams.
- Liaise with external vendors for tracking of issues.
- Billing systems configuration experience with ability to identify process improvement opportunities.
- Experience of working with Billing Systems and integrations between different systems (CRM or ERP systems).
- Understanding of project management methodologies.
- Strong understanding of Billing and Accounting practices.
- Strong Technology and Systems analysis background.
- Advanced knowledge of Systems Management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge in SQL and able to create SQL-based formulas.
- Business Analysis: expertise in writing and capturing requirements.
- Data Analysis: Business intelligence and data analysis skills.
- Process Analysis: process and optimisation methods and skills.
- Experience with an online task management tool such as Jira or equivalent.
- Experience with vendor management and contract management.
