About our School
All Saints Catholic College is the biggest Catholic school in the Sydney Archdiocese, and we are currently recruiting a temporary Learning Support Teacher. We are an innovative and creative learning community set across two campuses, Liverpool and Casula. About you
We invite a suitably qualified Learning Support Teacher to join our All Saints’ community on a temporary contract. Please note that applicants require a NESA teaching accreditation to apply for this role. New graduates are welcome to apply.
To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate;
- a deep understanding and commitment to the mission and purpose of the Catholic school within the broader Catholic Church
- experience in working with small groups of students
- the capacity and commitment to work collaboratively with the Learning Support team, classroom teachers and students
- the capacity to assist individual students with special needs in the classroom
- the capacity to contribute to the preparation of documentation required under legislation in line with privacy and confidentiality obligations
- the capacity to contribute to course materials for special needs students.
You will have attained:
- a tertiary qualification in education
- eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
- qualifications in the education of students with diverse learning needs
- an Employee ID registration number with Sydney Catholic Schools (SCS) or a commitment to Register to Teach in SCS.
