Leasing Consultant / Business Development Manager

Overview:

At REAL Specialists, we're working to innovate a new approach to real estate that focuses on our people. As we are rapidly expanding, we’re looking for an experienced and well-presented Leasing Consultant and New Business Specialist to grow alongside our Property Management Team. In addition, we are looking for this individual to be of a proactive nature and who can also add value to our organisation by growing our rental client base through actively sourcing new rental listings & new business opportunities.

Here at REAL Specialists, we take great pride in the level of service that we offer and we go the extra mile to ensure that we are pairing the right tenant with the right property and the right landlord. In this role, you will take control of end to end leasing and be instrumental in the tenant selection process in order to find the perfect tenant for each of our properties. It would suit someone who is self-driven and who can also help develop and build the residential portfolio with a strong focus on finding and converting new business opportunities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

• Conducting private/open for inspections
• Processing applications, including reference checks
• Overseeing sign-up processes with new tenants
• Liaising with tenants to answer all incoming queries
• Working closely with the property management team to ensure a smooth transition from the initial lease application to the ongoing management of tenants
• Market research & appraisals
• Negotiating with potential clients
• Prospecting our current database and clients whilst building new relationships
• Securing new business

What we are looking for:

• Must possess a current NSW and/or QLD Real Estate Certificate
• Current driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle
• Direct experience in a Business Development or Property Management role in the real estate industry
• An open and friendly disposition with a focus on client satisfaction
• A passion for first-class customer service
• Exceptional organisational and time management skills
