The Role and our Branch
Asset Planning and Services is seeking a highly motivated Leasing Coordinator to join the team.

The Leasing Coordinator will undertake negotiation, management and review of property leases and licences and other agreements held by the Department. The successful applicant will coordinate liaison, consultancy service for clients, ensuring effective planning and delivery of property leasing services.
As Leasing Coordinator you will project manage the development of medium complexity, medium risk property leases including procurement planning, documentation and evaluation of lease contract formation in consultation and negotiation with stakeholders. You will also provide support to stakeholders on developing and managing property leases in the context of government policy, strategic direction and market conditions.
The Infrastructure Directorate is responsible for the provision of services to schools on security and emergency management, environmental services, mowing, cleaning and tree management. The Directorate also management of the Department's Public Private Partnership and manages all aspects for a portfolio of leases and properties.

Your written application will be assessed against the following Selection Criteria:
- Demonstrated considerable experience in lease management in a property management or facilities management context.
- Demonstrated considerable knowledge of and experience in the application of legislation, policies and guidelines related to property, lease and facilities management.
- Demonstrated practical experience in developing and evaluating policies, procedures, guidelines and information management systems, including competence in using Microsoft Office applications.
- Demonstrated well developed interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills, including negotiation and influencing skills.
- Demonstrated well developed research, investigation and analytical skills with the ability to provide evidence-based reports and recommendations.
- Demonstrated well developed planning and organisational skills and the ability to complete work within timeframes
