Our client is seeking to engage a Leasing Manager on a Permanent, Full time basis.
Role Overview:
The Leasing Manager will be responsible for non-aviation leasing transactions across the Canberra Precincts and Commercial Developments within the Group. This will include sourcing new opportunities and undertaking lease renewals in the commercial precincts. The Leasing Manager will assist and provide support to the Head of Office and Group Head of Property in the management of the Commercial Business as well as taking a lead role in the development and design of new projects in the Company.
MAIN DUTIES:
Leasing -
The Leasing Manager will be responsible for the negotiation and sourcing of property leasing transactions across the entire non-aviation property portfolio. This portfolio includes approximately 275,000sqm of office accommodation. They will also be accountable for the negotiation and finalisation of lease renewals across the property portfolio. Legal
The Leasing Manager will oversee the negotiation and management of legal documentation of leasing transactions and renewals through to execution. This will include the negotiation of the agreement to lease (if necessary), lease, disclosure statements and any other supporting documentation.
Strategy -
The Leasing Manager will be responsible for delivering and executing a leasing strategy for the business in conjunction with the Head of Office.
Commercial Business Management -
The Leasing Manager will assist in the management of the existing commercial business, including review and input into key management reports and meetings. Reporting to the Leasing Manager in conjunction with the Head of Office will be required to develop feasibility reports for new projects (commercial) for management review and implementation. The Leasing Manager will also be required to prepare leasing reports, maintain farming lists and board reports where required.
Design and Development -
Along with the Company's project managers, the Leasing Manager will take a lead role developing concept designs for new projects (commercial). This includes the development of a concept design, feasibility, lease opportunities and agreement for lease negotiations for non-aviation related projects and developments.
Relationship Management -
Along with other senior managers, the Leasing Manager will take a lead role in developing and maintaining key relationships with internal and external stakeholders. This will include business development and creating new relationships to grow the Company's property business.
