LECTURERS (CONTRACTORS) POSTGRADUATE EDUCATION
Governance Institute of Australia is the only Australian provider of chartered governance accreditation, offering a range of short courses, certificates and accredited postgraduate study to help further the knowledge and education of the fast-growing governance and risk management profession.
We are seeking expressions of interest (EOIs) from individuals interested in contributing to the online delivery (teaching) and assessment of our TEQSA accredited AQF level 8 postgraduate courses in the below subjects, commencing on 7 August 2024 (semester 2, 2024). Applicants may be located anywhere in Australia.
- Applied Corporate Law
- Corporate Governance
- Development of Strategy
- Risk and Compliance
. We are seeking EOIs from individuals who can demonstrate:
- Tertiary-level qualifications at postgraduate level (ideally Masters-level or higher) in one of the above or a closely related subject area.
- Current or recent professional work experience in one of the above subject areas.
- Experience in online teaching at the higher education level.
- Experience in teaching to pre-developed academic materials; and in developing their own lecturing aids.
- A high level of enthusiasm for engaging online students and using integrated learning technologies.
- Experience in utilising Learning Management System/s for teaching, assessment and administrative purposes.
- A track record in meeting deadlines (marking and providing student feedback).
- A commitment to upholding and promoting academic integrity and free intellectual enquiry as core and inviolable principles of higher education.
