What you need to succeed
- Completion of a doctoral qualification with experience in water engineering aspects of civil engineering or a closely related field of Engineering. Completion of an undergraduate engineering qualification in a closely related field of civil engineering.
- Accomplished or demonstrated research leadership in the field of Urban Water engineering, including a track record of successfully obtaining grants, publishing in high-quality journals and top-tier conferences, and engaging with industry. The preferred field of research is sensing and control of water systems.
- Synergy with the School’s and Faculty’s existing research areas in water engineering
- Demonstrated ability in teaching and learning, including scholarly and innovative approaches to teaching and learning. Ability to teach into our civil engineering undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
- Interpersonal skills that demonstrate the ability to develop internal and external partnerships that extend best practice and realise opportunities for teaching and research.
- Proven ability to contribute to a high performance and collaborative culture.
