The primary role of a TAFE SA Lecturer is to provide a quality educational service of training, assessment and guidance to students in accordance with relevant training package objectives. Lecturers may also be involved in the provision of consultancy services to industry/community clients.If you are experienced, have the qualifications and are keen to teach students, we would love to hear from you.TAFE SA is now inviting applications from suitable candidates, in line with the selection criteria outlined within the Role Descriptor and .To be the successful applicant, you must have:
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40116 or Diploma/higher level qualification in adult education;
  • Experience as a qualified professional within his/her area of expertise, in one of the following:
  • Disability Services
  • Aged care - residential and/or home care services

The successful applicant is required to demonstrate having a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) prior to being employed. Applicants who do not hold a WWCC will need to apply at Department of Human Services (DHS).
  • Out of hours work may be required and a flexible approach to the hours of duty is essential.
  • Some Intrastate and interstate travel may be required.
  • May be required to relocate to other campuses within TAFE SA.
  • A flexible approach to the taking of leave is essential.
  • Eligibility to work in Australia.
