Streeterlaw, located an easy walk from Town Hall Station, is seeking to employ a Legal Administration Assistant for a full-time position (4 days per week will be considered for the right candidate).
The successful candidate will have a happy disposition with a ‘can do’ attitude. They must be trustworthy and have at least 2 years experience working in an office environment.
Role Description
1. Provide confidential administrative support to Solicitors.
2. Assist with dictation, typing of letters and documents.
3. Assist with the preparation of legal documents, including the compiling of briefs for Barristers.
4. Support Solicitors by liaising with clients and acting as ‘the first point of call’.
5. Assist Solicitors with management of their diary.
6. General office administration as required.
Role Requirements
1. Prior experience working in an office.
2. Confidence and at least intermediate skills with Microsoft Office and practice management software.
3. High level of attention to detail and the ability to follow at checklist.
4. Ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
5. Minimum typing speed to 45 words per minute.
Qualifications from a reputable Secretarial Course will be looked upon favourably.
