About the role
We are looking for a Legal Assistant to join our Road and Works Team on a full-time, permanent basis. Based in our Geelong office, this role will suit candidates looking to make their mark within the Firm whilst helping everyday Australians. You will work side-by side with our lawyers and legal support staff to provide quality administrative and legal support managing a rewarding and busy caseload of client files across the Road and Work Injuries Team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer all incoming client enquiries and assist or transfer calls where appropriate
- Provide accurate updates and information to clients within a timely manner and manage expectations
- Manage the administration of all client files from open to close
- Produce client correspondence and prepare court documents as requested
- Arrange and manage diaries, appointments and meetings
- Action all incoming mail
- Prepare bills for clients
- Any other generalist administrative tasks as requested

Key Selection Criteria:
- Minimum 2-3 years previous experience as a Legal Assistant
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to liaise with internal and external clients
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to prioritise and work under pressure
