We are a well-established boutique law firm in Elsternwick and have a wonderful opportunity for a Receptionist/Legal Assistant. You will work with great people and have an engaging and varied role to keep the job interesting! This position is full time.
The Opportunity
As our receptionist, you will be the first point of contact with our clients and visitors and also work closely with the broader team assisting with general office administration.
Some of your duties will include:
- Reception - answering calls, greeting clients
- Ensuring reception and meeting rooms present professionally at all times
- Assisting with file management – opening/closing/archiving files in LEAP
- Maintaining copy/stationary/staff amenities areas
- Receiving and distributing incoming mail
- Looking after deeds and archives
- Administrative and secretarial tasks as required
You will have
- Reception and client service experience dealing with professional clients in a law practice;
- Ability to work effectively with people at all levels in a polished and friendly manner;
- Professional phone manner;
- Corporate presentation, strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to juggle competing demands with minimal fuss;
- Good memory and strong attention to detail;
- Ability to use Leap, Microsoft Office 365, Excel, Word; and
- Solid administrative and typing skills.
