Our client is seeking a Junior Legal Assistant to join their Intellectual Property & Technology team. This role will see you providing administrative support to the wider IP team. The firm advises on cutting edge IP & Technology matters including IT projects, privacy and data protection and copyright & trademarks.
Duties will include:
- Liaising with clients both locally and overseas
- drafting IP Australia forms and other documents
- Monitoring critical dates
- end of month billing
- Administrative and reporting duties relating to both foreign and domestic trademark matters
- monitoring incoming correspondence, etc.
To be successful in this role you will have strong communication skills, high attention to detail, and be solutions driven. The ideal candidate will have 6 + months previous administration experience within a legal or professional services firm.
