The Role
We are seeking two Legal Assistants to join our Float Team, providing support across various departments. Working closely with corporate services and all the legal workgroups, some of your general duties will include:

  • Providing exceptional and proactive administrative support at a firm-wide level.
  • Covering annual and sick leave for the wider administration team.
  • Covering relief reception as required.
  • Diary management and meeting coordination with clients and key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Secretarial support for high-volume general administrative tasks.
  • File management, including opening and closing files and ongoing management of electronic files.
Please note that due to the nature of this role, the successful candidate must be available to work from 9 am to 5:30 pm.
Experience
You will ideally have 1-3 years' experience as a Legal Assistant, with a proven track record of supporting busy teams and managing competing priorities. You will need to be adaptable and flexible in your role, where, at times, you will be required to work across multiple teams. Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate the following attributes:
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise initiative.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to network and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to multitask and manage deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain good working relationships and work effectively, cooperatively, and supportively with others across the firm.
  • Ability to work autonomously while also being an effective team member.
  • Excellent technical skills and understanding of software applications.
