There is an opportunity for a Legal Assistant to join the Insurance team in a full-time capacity at the Sydney office. The team handles a variety of CTP cases.
Responsibilities:
- Managing files – opening/closing
- Communicating and managing a broad range of client interactions
- Preparing briefs
- Handling monthly billing and reporting
- Preparing correspondence and legal documents in consultation with authors
- Managing diaries, including scheduling client appointments and events
- Providing general administrative support
Ideal Candidate:
- A minimum of 3 years of legal experience
- Proficiency with precedent, billing, and file management software
- Excellent communication skills
- Prior experience in defendant insurance litigation
- An enthusiastic and proactive work attitude
