The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Legal Assistant to work in our Melbourne Insurance practice. Supporting a busy team, you will be regarded as an integral member who will provide superior administrative support and a variety of ad-hoc duties.

Responsibilities will include the following:

• Opening and closing of files;
• Preparing legal documents;
• Online court filing;
• Billing;
• File management;
• Diary management;
• Preparation and reconciliation of expenses;
• Client liaison and management; and
• PA duties as required.

Who We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate will have 1+ years' experience as a Legal Assistant with excellent communication and diary management skills, with a client service focus. You will be proficient in MS Word and formatting, and have the ability to prioritise tasks, display initiative, and have exceptional attention to detail. There is a strong focus on billing in this role and as such, you will demonstrate proficiency in this aspect.
