Our client is a high profile FMCG organisation with an impressive footprint of operations throughout Australia.
Based in the Melbourne Head Office you will take on a responsible role within their Legal Department
Working closely with a small senior in house legal Team the legal co -ordinator will be responsible for monitoring legal workflows, milestones, and critical deadlines of the division.
The team works across areas including competition law ,industry regulation, property ,leasing and a range of commercial agreements.
Reporting to senior management the role carries responsibility for reporting on workflows and progress across diverse range of legal matters.
The successful applicant will possess the following skills and attributes:
- A proven track record in working effectively with a team of lawyers in a pressure environment,
- High level of interpersonal and communication skills,
- The ability to grasp and explain in simple terms what blockages, obstacles or other issues are impacting upon a variety of company legal matters.
- The ability to present brief ,succinct reports to senior management.
Ideally you will have a minimum of 10 years relevant experience. Legal qualifications are not strict requirement for the role
A background as a court registrar or similar could be highly suitable
