Our client is a global player in the financial services space, seeking an employment lawyer to join on a ten-month fixed term contract to start in January. As part of this role, you will work in the APAC employment team in a regional team of lawyers, supporting all business divisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide employment legal advice and support on a range of issues across APAC with a primary focus on North Asia and Australia.
- Manage employment litigation cases.
- Partner with various functions within Human Resources and a range of business clients.
- Think strategically and assist with proactive management of employment legal risk.
- Ideally 5 years+ PAE with employment experience gained from time spent inhouse or in private practice.
- Experience gained in financial services would be advantageous but is not essential.
- You will have excellent organisational skills, and be able to effectively manage competing priorities.
- Driven, with strong communication skills, and an ability to interact with people at all levels of the business.
