About the role
The Legal Counsel – Regulatory & Compliance reports to the General Counsel & Head of Legal Services and is responsible for providing legal support to BAC and other companies within the BAC Group in a commercial, timely and effective manner either by directly providing the relevant in-house legal services or managing external resources. In addition, this role is also responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and management of BAC’s compliance framework to support BAC’s ongoing regulatory compliance.
About you
You like to be part of a happy, high performing team and take pride in doing great work. With a Law degree and admission to practise in QLD as a solicitor, you will have commercial legal experience in a law firm or in-house, ideally including supporting and maintaining compliance programs, with certification in Risk and/or Compliance Management. You have the ability to appropriately balance commercial and operational objectives with legal and compliance risk.
