Established in 2000, Elias Recruitment is a specialist legal recruitment agency based in the Sydney CBD with interstate and international operations. We are successful because of our drive for integrity and excellence for both our clients and candidates.

Due to consistent and ongoing growth, we are seeking an experienced and self-motivated Legal Recruitment Consultant to join our team.

What is the role?

Ideally based in Sydney but open to other locations with WFH options, your duties will include:

• Utilising relevant recruitment tools (including our database, LinkedIn Recruiter etc) to identify, contact and screen candidates on a daily basis for specific client briefs, both for law firms and companies;
• Working closely with the team to take comprehensive job briefings from clients;
• Attending client meetings;
• Writing and posting job ads;
• Conducting reference checks as required; and
• Developing relationships with relevant candidates and keeping in regular contact to build positive, productive and long-term working relationships.

You will work alongside other high performing recruitment consultants who are experienced business professionals. We will help you take your professional growth and development as a person and business professional to the next level with as much support as you need, but without the micro-management of some agencies.

What we are looking for:

Someone who can fit in well with our established team for the long term. Our ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of recruitment experience within the legal industry, though more would be advantageous and we are certainly open to talking to senior consultants.

You will:

• Be happy to do a mix of private practice and in-house recruitment;
• Be a terrific communicator;
• Have a passion and genuine interest in people and love dealing with people face to face;
• Be an excellent team player who can work autonomously just as well;
• Be interested in business development, sales and marketing;
• Be self-motivated to be rewarded for the results you achieve;
• Be down-to-earth and able to deal with the Managing Director's Dad jokes;
• Have a strength for building and maintaining strong relationships with people; and
• Have a desire to grow and develop into an outstanding business professional.
