Nyman Gibson Miralis is a specialist Criminal Law firm in NSW with a vibrant and supportive team. We currently seek to employ a highly motivated and experienced Legal Secretary to provide secretarial and administration support.
Duties:
- Answering calls, liaising with clients, courts and barristers
- Preparing legal correspondence, briefs and documents
- Opening files, billing, time sheet entry, filing, accounts receivable and payable
- Diary management
- Assist with organising events, CLE, travel and accommodation
- Assist with staff training including inductions and general administration duties
Skills and Experience:
- A minimum of 12 month's experience in Criminal Law
- Ability to multi-task and have exceptional attention to detail
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft applications, particularly Outlook and Word
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional manner
- Ability to work within a team and with Senior Management
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Experience with LexisNexis Affinity is highly desirable
- A proactive approach and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
