SalaryLY Lawyers Pty Ltd are amongst NSW leading Criminal Law Firms, specialising exclusively in Criminal Law. We have offices in Sydney, Liverpool and Wollongong. We are a hard working, close-knit team.
Due to our rapidly growing firm we are in need of a Legal Secretary to assist our solicitors in our World Square, Sydney Office in the running of a busy criminal practice.
The day to day duties will include, but are not limited to;
- Taking Calls and messages;
- diary management, including organising internal and external client meetings;
- managing the process of opening new clients and matters through to closure of a matter;
- Taking payments over the phone and in person;
- Booking visits at Correctional Centres;
- Ad hoc Duties; Filing, scanning, attending to emails, printing emails and putting on file;
- Data Entry onto our Legal Accounting Software and Single Touch Payroll;
- Paralegal work including assisting our solicitors with Criminal Law cases.
To be successful for this role you must have;
- Strong communication and organisational skills;
- Work Calm under pressure;
- The ability to prioritise;
- The ability to multitask and be pro-active;
- Willingness to learn;
- Strong attention to detail;
- Some Accounts Clerk experience including data entry.
This is a full time role, so full time university students please not apply.
