Form of workCalverley Johnston Family Lawyers is a boutique firm devoted exclusively to the practice of Family Law, with offices located in the Perth CBD and Geraldton. We are looking for a full-time (or at least 0.8 FTE) Legal Secretary to join our team and complement the small firm “family vibe” we have established as the cornerstone of our culture.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Working under the direction of and being responsible for 2-3 lawyers
- General legal administration and file management
- Diary management
- Billing/invoicing duties
- Assisting with other firm-related tasks as necessary
The ideal candidate would have the following attributes:
- A minimum of 2 - 3 years’ experience in the legal industry (preferably in Family Law)
- The ability to prioritise tasks and display initiative
- Reliable and punctual
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- Good attention to detail
- Works well in a team environment
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Prior experience in Filepro desirable, but not necessary
- Prior experience with Grants Online desirable, but not necessary
Salary will be commensurate with experience.
