Who are you?
You are:
- A Legal Secretary/paralegal (preferably 2+ years’ experience)
- Experienced in family law (preferable but not mandatory)
- A team player and a hard worker
- Outstanding attention to detail
- Uber-organised
- Pro-active
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook and the like
- Experienced in dictation/transcription, with strong typing skills
- Confident and professional in telephone manner
- Excellent at diary management skills
- Quick to learn
- Able to follow instructions, yet work unsupervised
- Client-focussed
- Cool under pressure
- A positive, “can do” person
What does your day look like?
Your day will include the following:
- Undertaking real property/company searches
- Proofing/editing documents
- Drafting basic correspondence/documents
- Collating briefs to counsel
- Preparing balance sheets
- Collating/indexing disclosure documents
- Attending to client calls
- Diary/email management
- Typing/transcribing dictations
- Electronic file management
- Billing
- General office duties
Salary?
