If you are a passionate, caring and qualified (or partially qualified) Leisure and Lifestyle Assistant holding a completed or partially completed Certificate IV in Leisure and Lifestyle, we want to hear from you!
Qualification and experience desired
- Certificate IV Leisure & Lifestyle
- Sound computer skills
- Motivated with ability to use own initiative
- Able to work independently and as a member of a team
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Experience in residential care for elderly people, including working with people living with Dementia
Key Results Required
- To be an active participant in planning and implementing the Health & Wellbeing program, ensuring it is person centred and meets the individual needs and preferences of residents.
- Ensure all activities provide a holistic cultural, emotional, physical, intellectual and social benefit to residents.
- Take an active role in getting to know our residents and their families.
- Work with the Health & Wellbeing Coordinator to ensure all residents have a current and complete social profile, and that profile is referred to, ensuring activities offered are person centred and meet each individual’s needs.
